How To Sterilize Your Own Horse's Hoof Clippings

While we sterilize the hoof clippings we get from local farriers and the horses they trim, if you're ordering Custom Equinite you'll have to sterilize your horse's hoof clippings before you mail them to us.

Here's how:

1.  Scrub hoof trimmings in soap and water with a stiff brush until they are clean.

2.  Soak trimmings in 3/4 cup of bleach in one gallon of water for 20 minutes. 

3.  Rinse and air dry the trimming for one day.

4.  Double seal hoof trimmings in 2 ziplock bags and mail to us at:
